Jakarta’s Vice Governor Rano Karno is on a mission to turn the city into a cool filmmaking hub by its 500th anniversary in 2027 with his “Jakarta: City of Cinema” idea. He wants to make the city more film-friendly since local flicks are doing great, holding a 65% market share.
