great example of how good Indonesian cinema was and can be again, an excellent portrayal of class differences in Indonesia, as well as being a powerful statement protesting the disregard for and oppression of women. a great film by a man who was hands down, one of the greatest directors/writers in the history of Indonesian cinema and theater.
